It's A......

February 12 was the big day to find out if Mary is going to have a baby brother or a baby sister! 

Anxiously waiting to go back for the ultrasound! 

IT'S A BOY!!!!!! 

His name is William Gib Empey. We will be calling him Liam!

We were all shocked! I can't believe we are having a baby boy!

This is one of my favorite shots of the ultrasound- love his sweet ankle bone and I just love the foot/calf shot! 

Can't wait to meet our baby Liam!

In January we got to play with the Watsons here in Twin! It was so much fun having them around! Mary was in paradise! :) 

That Saturday - we decided to take them to Shoshone Falls! 

The girls thought it was pretty cool! 

This is Mary's favorite tree ever at Shoshone Falls so we had to take a picture of them all! 

We then showed them Dierkes Lake where we love swimming in the summertime- we played at the park there for awhile! 

So fun! It was a beautiful day! 

The girls also used their imagination! They are good at that! Here they are outside after making their "house". 

It was a great weekend! Come back Watsons!! 

Mary's Countdown!

As soon as Mary found out that we were finding out if BABY was a BOY  or a GIRL on Feb 12, she wanted to know how LONG that was going to be. So of course, we made a countdown chain! She loved taking a link off every morning!!! 

American Heart Association

At Mary's school, they did a Jump for Heart week where they learned how to keep your heart healthy! Mary really latched on and has been very intrigued with how the heart works! 

She wanted to draw a heart and show her PE teacher. 

Will and I told her it would be so cool if she could make a movie explaining why it's important to stay heart healthy. She loved the idea! I will have to post the video in a later post. 

Also they did a fundraiser during this for the American Heart Institute... Mary helped raise about $200! She got to stick her picture on a duck in the "Heart Hero Pond!" 

Skating!

Mary went to a birthday party in January for her friend JJ. It was at a local skating rink! She had never ever been skating at all before...

By the way all skating rinks look the same and wow, did it bring back memories. I thought I was so cool going to Starlite Skating Rink when I was younger! 

At first Mary was terrified and I did not think she would ever put the skates on! But she became so brave- tried it and loved it! She looked adorable!
