8th Ward...

... We are here to stay!!!!! Will and I have been looking for places to live and we found a house here in this neighborhood! Very very exciting! Will and I both grew up in this ward and have enjoyed being back- and now we are THRILLED to be in the ward! We will be living down the street from my parents! We are excited- and i am pretty sure my parents are glad to get us OUTTA THEIR HOUSE!!!

5 Months Old!

Mary is 5 months old today! It is seriously so crazy how fast it has gone! Will and I are so thankful for our sweet little one! She has brought us so much happiness! Mary is such a good baby! She will just lay on the floor and play with her toys and just enjoys all her toys! She now sleeps through the night! We will put her to bed between 9-10 and she will sleep until 5-6am! It is WONDERFUL! I also can just lay her in her crib awake and she goes to sleep on her own with hardly any crying! She loves hearing herself scream! she is quite the squealer! And when she wants your attention she lets you know it. She is pretty good at recognizing voices and people she knows! She also is quite the wiggler- when I lay her down on the floor to play she will be in a complete different spot and position in a matter of 5-10 minutes! We love her so much!!

From Will and I she recieved a couple books, pajamas, more baby food, and Elmo DVD, and a jumper that you hangin the doorway. She recieved a lot of fun things from her Grandparents-

From her Grandma and Grandpa Graves she recieved a Care Bear, A Talking/Learning Puppy, and some bath toys!

From her Grandma and Grandpa Luckau she recieved a cute outfit! Jeans and a onesie that says "Daddy's Little Girl", and a singing Puppy Muppet.

From Aunt Lyner she recieved stacking rings!

From Aunt Aubrey she recieved a cool book that talks and teaches about colors and textures!

she loves ALL of it and it was soooo cute to see her reaction and to see how she loved every single gift she got from Aunts and grandparents!

She was very tuckered out after opening gifts!

MARY LOVES IT!

It was a very fun Christmas and I really enjoyed just hanging out with family - and especially with Will and Mary!
We spent Christmas Eve at Graves: We ate a Turkey dinner, played games, and enjoyed talking to one another!- Then Christmas morning we went to my parents for breakfast ane recieved our gifts from them. And then about 1:30 we went to Grandma Empeys and ate dinner over there which was ham, funeral potatoes, corn, and jello salad!- and just hung out there for quite awhile! Mary and I napped while Will and Aunt B watched the Celtics vs Lakers... Lakers won by the way!

It was a very enjoyable day!!

Also Josh and Jessy found out they will be having a baby BOY!!!!! Little Hunter Joe Hyde will be the name- He is due May 8th! It is so fun to see Jessy's belly grow! This picture you can't really tell how big her belly is-- but she looks soooo cute!

The Spirit of Christmas!!!

Today in sacrament meeting we had a lot of music in the program! I love music around this time of year! I just was getting chills today when the choir was singing Oh Holy Night- and Kristen Barney and David Vasas each sang a solo and then together during this song and I just felt the spirit so strong! It made me so excited for the celebration of our Saviors birth. Christmas is not just about Santa Clause, candy, chocolates, presents--- Its about family. It most importantly is about Christ! The celebration of the Savior's life and his selflessness! I want to and need to work harder in my life to be more like Him!

The Original 7 Luckau Kiddos!

Lindsey and I were going through old pictures- and we gathered a bunch and put on face book! It has been so fun going down memory lane! I love this picture cause it was taken like 15 years ago or so-- its insane that we were all that little once!! and now we are all grown up and starting our own families!

...PLUMBERS CRACK! haha We were getting Mary ready for bed and Will took her cloths off and this is what we found! haha You think the diaper is a little TOO heavy? Woops! We were laughing pretty hard!

Mary loves her toys!

I thought this picture was really cute!! On her vibrating chair - theres that tiger to the left of her head- She always lifts herself up and turns to look at it! Its Hilarious! I think it is so cute to watch!

Routine!

I am trying to start this routine at bedtime with Mary- It works some of the time! What I do is I feed her, her cereal- then I change her and let her play on the floor- then I put the NIGHT time baby lotion on, then put her jammies on! Then I read her a few books and then nurse her and lay her in her bed! Tonight Katelynn and Daniel were here and they wanted to read to her- so I let them all sit on the couch and read! It looked so cute- I had to take a picture!

Finding the Thumb!!

Mary has been sucking her fingers since she came out of the womb- its like shes been searching for her thumb! Well on Thursday- this is how we found her many times!!

I just thought that Mary looked so cute in this outfit!! This outfit was given to us by a couple ladies at Idaho State Police!

Its a 0-3 month outfit- and still is a little big- she is so tiny! But getting bigger!!!

Mary loves sitting or laying by the Christmas tree!! She will calm down and look at the lights! Oh our sweet little girl!!...

Last night was the ward Christmas party and we dressed Mary up into her Santa outfit- It was a hand me down- and so its getting small on her- but I thought she still looked ADORABLE!!

Every time Mary gets a little fussy- if i put her in her car seat like this- its INSTANT- she is OUT like a light!!! She loves her snow coat! Thanks to Grandma Luckau!

Fun Videos!

OK so i hope this isn't too annoying and to many videos- you don't have to watch but they are fun!!! The first one is showing you how Mary loves to try and take the spoon away from me- 2nd is of her giggling ( hard to see cause its dark ish but the sound is whats important!)- 3rd- is hILARIOUS- We love to put sesame street on you tube- she loves rubber ducky- and the Dixie Chicks singing on it- well this video is Backstreet boys singing with Elmo- Mary HATED it! so we put on Elmo with Goo Goo Dolls-- and she loved it- so thats that video-

The Nutcracker and our Sleeping Beauty!!

Katelynn and Daniel starred in the Nutcracker again this year! I thought there little outfits were so cute! And I love that Daniels tux had the tail back! SO cute! They both looked adorable! (*sorry for the red eyes*)

Mary was in the swing playing and i was doing a couple things in another room- and when i went to go check on her this is how I found her! I thought she looked so BEAUTIFUL! I love her cute little hand how it is positioned just so! Shes a doll and I could stare at and take pictures of our little girl ALL DAY!
