Hanging with the Hadley's!

In March while I was in Idaho Falls during Spring Break... I took Miss Mary and her friend Hailey to see Cinderella! 

It was a very cute show! 

We loved it! They had so much fun going all dressed up as princesses!

These two are hilarious together! They are pretty inseparable! I think that night they also enjoyed a sleepover at Haileys :) 

GIRLS WEEKEND IN LAVA!

Girls weekend this year was sort of weird!! We annually have a weekend in Lava Hot Springs with my mom, sisters, and all our Bright (moms side) aunts, girl cousins, etc. 

This year, my mom and sisters are the only ones that showed up :) sort of...

Friday afternoon we were all so excited to be together and start our weekend. This year was WITHOUT KIDS! (Except Abigail)  As soon as my mom pulled into town, my Dad (who also had Brandon and Mary) called my Mom saying he had a high fever and couldn't function. So my mom had to leave Friday night and help my Dad out. Mary was then taken care of by my dear friend Stephanie! THANKS SO MUCH AGAIN STEPH! 

Friday night, us remaining girls played games, laughed, chatted, and ate PIZZA! We literally hardly slept that night. The neighbors downstairs were drunk and partying like it was noon day! We just talked and giggled. I literally can't sleep in beds and so I also missed my recliner back home! No sleep for me! 

AUBREY IS PREGNANT TOO! So this was us hanging out and watching Pretty Little Liars while the others went and soaked! Being pregnant we opted out of sitting in hot pools! For the safety of our babies! 

Saturday, Lindsey had a friends wedding to attend so her husband came and picked her up and dropped my Mommy off! 

Saturday, we ate pizza again (I LOVE THE SALAD THERE!), walked around, talked, and played games as well! My aunt Nancy showed up for a little bit- so all but Aubs and I again went soaking in the hot pools a couple times. 

That night when Aubrey and Rachel were leaving, mom and I felt that we should go home as well because my Dad had Mary again and still was feeling terrible! So we got home and when we arrived... My dad was fast asleep, Brandon was still up and miss Mary was in the couch watching Netflix with a 101 degree fever!!! I'm so glad we went home that night. Mary ended up having an ear infection! It was for the most part a very fun weekend. But it certainly was an odd one!! 

I can't wait for next years girls weekend! Let's just hope it turns out better than this year! :) 

Catching a Leprechaun!

In Mary's class, they all had to build a Leprechaun trap. Mary was so excited to do this- she was given a week to plan and I think we finished hers in one day!! 

She told me that she learned leprechauns don't obey, they love gold, they are very very tiny, and they LOVE anything shiny!! So this was her idea of a leprechaun trap:

We used an Apple iPhone 5 box and covered it with foil. We made a rainbow and a pot full of gold. Then she used clear sparkle nail polish to make it all shiny. She then made a "stop" sign and a "do not enter" sign - since they disobey, of course the leprechaun would enter anyway!  Right in front of the pot of gold was a button. As the leprechaun would enter and walk to the gold... He would step on the button, and that would knock the box on top of the sneaky leprechaun! And that is how Mary traps a Leprechaun!!
