SO GLAD TO BE WITH MOMMY!

a fun little tidbit- Mary got weighed today and weighs 16 pounds 15 ounces!

Thats exactly 11 pounds heavier from her birth weight! She is so petite!

Megann Heath watched Mary one day for my Mom and she sent a bunch of cute pics! here are a couple of them! The above pic is Mary, Lainey, and Libby. And this bottom pic CRACKS me up!!! She falls asleep so easily apparently!

My Precious 10 MONTH OLD Baby Girl!

I just got done with the HARDEST thing I have ever had to do! I had to stay away from my precious baby for safety precautions after my radiation! It was the worst 9 days and the hardest 9 days with out her! I missed her soooooooo much and all i could do was think about her! She is my life! I love her so incredibly much words CAN NOT express how much i love her- and how hard it was being away from her! I would never wish that upon ANYONE! Not even my worst enemy! I really want to thank my parents and my ward family and anyone else who helped take care of our little squirt while she had to be isolated from me!! The hardest thing i have ever done!!
Mary is now 10 MONTHS old!!! I seriously can not believe how fast she has grown!!! She is an official crawler and hauls butt across the room!! She is such a smart - good - sweet- incredible- well behaved- good eater- best sleeper baby EVER! I am so thankful for her and we love her with all our hearts!!!! She is the center and the most important person in our lives! WE love you baby girl!!!

*Memorial Day*

I think that as we go camping, have picnics with the family, go swimming and all the other activities of this weekend we forget its real purpose, which is to honor those fallen soldiers. To honor those who served our country in its darkest hours and gave all that they had. Emily and I both have Grandparents and Uncles who served in several wars.

The Department of Defense announced today the death of five Marines who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lance Cpl. Dustin V. Birch, 22, of Saint Anthony, Idaho

Lance Cpl. Daniel Chavez, 20, of Seattle, Wash.

Lance Cpl. Thomas O. Keeling, 23, of Strongsville, Ohio

Lance Cpl. Devon P. Seymour, 21, of St. Louisville, Ohio

Cpl. Brad D. Squires, 26, of Middleburg Heights, Ohio

All five Marines died June 9 as a result of an explosion while conducting combat operations with 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), in Haqlaniyah, Iraq.

Keeling, Seymour, and Squires were assigned to Marine Forces Reserves 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Akron, Ohio.

Birch was assigned to Marine Forces Reserves 4th Tank Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Boise, Idaho.

Chavez was assigned to 1st Tank Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.

I was driving to the airport in Salt Lake City to pick up my two younger brothers who were coming to stay with me for a while. I remember my mom calling to tell me about Dustin and that my brothers were bringing me some newspaper articles. I remember sitting in the terminal at a loss of words. I had just gotten an email from him recently and couldn't believe it. While I was driving home for his funeral I heard "American Soldier" on the radio. The music video is very touching. I couldn't help but think of Dustin and all the he sacrificed for me and for my family. He was 22, engaged with his whole life and dreams ahead of him.

I hope that we all take a moment from our activities to remember Dustin and the men and women like Dustin who have given their last measure of devotion for our freedom as well as the men and women throughout the world fighting this very moment for our safety and freedom. God bless them and our great nation!

YaRd WoRk!!

Yesterday we did a lot of yard work! Well Will of course did most of it! I loved how it turned out! And it was so nice to be out of the house and soing something other than sleep or watching tv! But man i am sure missing my Mary!!!!! But 6 days to go until i cna see her again!! I love you baby girl!

Its Time!

so I went to the Dr this afternnon- and my level is at 65.8 so i am good togo to start radiation treatment. I will be going tothe hospital on Wednesday by noon and then i will haev to stay away from people for 3-4 days!! But by next week I will be back on my thyroid medication and starting to feel better!! Thank you everyone for all your concern, prayers, letters, kind words, and helping with Mary! Will and I truly appreciate it!! I am so thankful for this blessing ion my life ! I have learned a lot going through this!

Today I babysat one of my friend's twin girls! Katelyn and Kyleigh ( they are almost exactly 6 weeks older than Mary)! They are so adorable! Mary and them had a lot of fun together and i enjoyed every m inute of it! I was tired afterwards but it was worth it! Sweet babies!!!!

Update on my thyroid cancer!

So today i went in to the DOCs and found out where my TSH levels are and the results of my body scan! It is good news!! The cancer has not spread!!! It did show a little in my neck but Dr Capener was expecting that since i just had the surgery there! So i will have to do ONE and only ONE treatment! WAHOO! I am so happy and definitly can count my blessings!! Nad my TSH levels are at 33 and they need to be at 50 for the treatment. The Dr believes it will probably be next week that I have the treatment!

Thank you everyone who has prayed and fasted and all the kind thoughts in my behalf! I truly appreciate it and definitly have felt your support! Thank you so much!
In fact I have recieved lots of letters and gifts that are so precious to me! My sister Lyner even did a post and i thought it was so thoughtful and i love it!! You can read that if you want just go here...

All Tuckered Out

I was feeding Mary this morning and I left the room for like 3 minutes! I guess she was exhausted!!!

I love her sooo much and I am so thankful to be a Mother!! It has been the best and biggest blessing to wake up and see Mary everyday! I never thought I could love someone so much and she is just amazing! I love her and I feel so blessed to be her Mother!!!! I love you baby girl!
