Random Fun!

Mary Sadie and Hailey enjoying the hot weather by eating popsicles!

We have had such a fun summer! Here are just some random pics of some fun we have had!

Parker stayed with us for almost a week... I love that little guy! Isn't her precious!

While Rachel, Seth, and Aubrey were all in town we took the kids to Rexburg Rapids!
Mom floating with Megs and Mary

Megan and Mary chilling after swimming when I bought them a sno cone! :)

AUBREY CAME TO TOWN!!!! I love this girl! Isn't she gorgeous!

Grandma bout them big princess coloring books! Such a fun time at Grandmas house!

Will is getting OLD :)

Mary had to help blow the candles out, of course!

Will had his 29th birthday on August 6th! On his actual birthday we celebrated with cake and ice cream. His Mom and step dad came, my Dad, Brandon, Lindsey, and Kyle all came as they were the only ones in town. Will received some great presents. He also received mail form a few people which was generous and always fun!

Here are some updates on Will since I haven't talked about him in awhile:
- Will is working hard. He is currently working at Big Dog- He was asked to lead a sales team for insulation the beginning of the summer under Jared. Well as time went on they decided to focus just on Satellite right now. Jared actually doesn't work for the company anymore, which opened up a position that Will was promoted to. He is the  Outside Sales Manager. This was great news for us as he now gets base pay plus commissions. Major blessing and answer to our prayers.
-Will will be starting his application process for Pharmacy school this Fall and will turn it in February 2013! I am so excited for this. He is so smart and deserves this so much... I just PRAY he will be accepted!
-Will was made Scout Master in our ward and is loving every minute of it. He has seen some amazing changes in the young men. He is excellent for this kind of stuff. He really does well in Scouts since that was ALL HE DID growing up. He also has a gift of working with the youth. They love him and look up to him.

Will I am so thankful for you and love you very much! Thanks for all you do, and for being such a great father to our little sweetheart!

We celebrated our 8th anniversary last month! I cant believe its been 8 years... You're my best friend!
Cloud of paint-- Pic taken by Ashley Curry

On August 3, 2012 Jessy, Brooklyn, and I "sped walked" the Graffiti Me 5K Color Me Run! It was so much fun! We had a great time...

Me, Brooke, and Jess all CLEAN and WHITE!

We saw our cousin Rissie there so we took a picture with her-- all CLEAN!

And one of my favorite people EVER Ashley Curry... my Zumba instructor!

At certain points of the race, they had people spraying us with powder paint... (Made from corn starch?)
we got so filthy!

AFTER- Me, Brook, and Jess

Ash and I

Got to have a BEFORE/AFTER side by side!

BEFORE/AFTER

At the end we all got pouches of paint and all huddled together. and counted down from 10 and then threw all the paint in the air--- it was so crazy to be in the middle! you couldnt see or breathe in the CLOUD OF PAINT!
This was so much fun! I wouldnt mind making it a tradition... if its in Idaho Falls again that is :)

"There's No Crying in Baseball"

On Saturday the 28th of July, it was my Dad's birthday and we got tickets to the Chukars game. Geena Davis was there to throw the 1st pitch! We got a great seat and could see her perfect! It is the 20th Anniversary of the A League Of Their Own, which is a FAVORITE in our family! This was a fun activity for us to do as a family on y Daddy-o's birthday!

Great pic... Right after the national anthem!

Mary loved the ice cream in the helmet bowl!

Dad, Mom, and Brandon. (you can kind of see Will at the end- he turned so he wouldnt be in the pic! haha

Linds and I

We saw Reegan at the game! Mary was in heaven! Mary and Reegans are BFF's!!

More Geena!

This is about how close we got to her! This picture is not zoomed!

My Dad yelled DOTTY really loud, and this was her mid turn - she waved and smiled!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

There she is!! Lindsey and I thought it was great!

Now as far as the game, it was really fun to watch. The Chukars lost, however :( I cant remember the score... but it was a significant loss... bummer deal.

After the game, they showed a showing of A League Of Their Own down on the field on a big screen. That was a fun atmosphere to be in and watch! We didnt last the whole movie though, Mary had other plans in mind!

It was a great day... we had a lot of fun!

10th Ward Campout!

The ward campout this year was at Krupp Scout Hollow. What a fun place! Mary had a blast exploring and playing around!

Mary and the Totem pole!

This was her favorite place to "dance". it was a PERFECT stage!!

Cute little "Town" inside Krupp Scout...

I thought the pretend town was adorable...

Will led a lot of the young kids on a hike while we were there!
Will loves Krupp Scout Hollow and has many memories working there for scouts. He really was missing his best friend Dustin Birch and it was neat to hear him reminisce!

Mary and Berkley on the hike!

Mary and Bishop Klein. These two have a neat relationship!

Mary doing the entertainment.
I didn't get a picture of this, but Mary used this pink glow wand to lead everyone in the opening song for the fireside!

Cute Jaxon!

Dewey doing the yoshi dance :)

There was a gigantic beetle!

All tuckered out from the fun filled weekend!

Mary is 4!!!

On her actual Birthday we took her to McDonalds before we left for the Ward Camp out.

Mary with most of her gifts from her birthday party!
I cant believe Mary is 4 years old!!  She is so much fun and brings us so much happiness. She is hilarious and full of spunk! Here are some stats on our 4 year old:

Weight: 34 lbs  (40th percentile)
Height: 41 inches (70th Percentile)
Overall growth for her age = 20th percentile

She had her shots for kindergarten this year, She will only be in  preschool, but I decided to do them now where she will be in an elementary school- and we could get them out of the way! She was so tough! She cried for a minute but afterwards she was so cute and kept saying "Mommy, I was brave?"

Our little stinker is so funny... I love the things she comes up with. Here are a couple Maryisms:

-We went to a baby shower the other day, and she was so excited for the gift we gave. She asked "Can I PLEASE give this to the baby when we get there?" And I said "Mary, the baby isn't born yet, he is still in his Mommy's tummy. We are just going to a baby shower where we give the Mommy gifts for the babies."  and Mary replied "OH, so the baby is still in the Mommy's tummy, but she needs to take a shower?" hahaha! I laughed for a minute before I could explain to her.

-She LOVES the movie Saturday's Warrior! I love that she loves it... When she wants to watch it she asks to watch "THE CLOUD" haha I think because of all the clouds in heaven in the beginning!?

-The other day my Dad said "Mary , Come here I have a secret" She went over there and he told her a secret (I love you). She smiled sweetly and said "Gwandpa, that's not a secret!!!" haha  Adorable! It certainly is not a secret, thats for sure!

We love you baby girl! I feel so old saying I have a 4 year old! YIKES- SOMEBODY SLOW DOWN TIME! :)

Happy 4th Birthday Mary Anne Empey

Mary's Birthday Party!

Mary's choice of cake! She loved the princesses in the Garden!!

The day before Mary's birthday we had a birthday party at the park. We went camping on her actual birthday so we celebrated with friends and family the night before! She had a lot of fun playing at the park, hanging with friends, being sung to, and of course being spoiled rotten!! I cant believe my baby girl is 4!
