2011 In Review!

JANUARY...
Mary kept us busy with her SPARKLING personality!

FEBRUARY:
We watched one of Austin's last hockey games! I think this was his last game? He graduated in June! 

MARCH:
Lindsey and Kyle were ENGAGED!

April:
Easter- Mary was beautiful in her new dress!

May:
Mary got her FIRT haircut!
Will moved to Fresno, CA to work for Big Dog insulation!

June:
Will came home for a visit! we went camping and to the zoo!

One of July:
Lindsey and Kyle got married!!!

End of July:
MARY TURNED 3!!

August A:
Mary and I went back to CA with Will for 2 weeks! We had a BLAST! It was so hot!

August B:
Mary's first day of Preschool!!

September:
Jessy and Josh had their second child!
Parker Nathan

October:
Mary was Tinkerbell for Halloween!

November:
Mary got a BIG girl bed!!! She loves it!

December:
We had a wonderful Christmas, Mary loved opening her presents and stocking!

It was a great 2011!! Happy New Years eve everybody!! Be Safe!! Here's to a great 2012!!

Good Riddance Van!

The Van is a GONER!

So December 18th we went to SLC to go to Temple Square! We stayed at Rachel's house that night and left Monday the 19th! We brought home Megan with us to hang out because the Watsons would be coming in a couple days! Anyway on the ride home Monday night we were involved in a car accident!! It was near Mcammon - right by the exit...THANKFULLY no one was hurt- except the VAN! Another good thing was IT WAS NOT OUR FAULT! Will was driving, my dad was in the passenger seat. Brandon, my Mom, and I were in the middle seats and Megan and Mary were in the back seat in their car seats! (another thank goodness here for car seats!) What happened was we were driving along and the car ahead of us- started to exit and had realized they were exiting to soon- so they swerved back on, over corrected and lost control so they were all over the road-- Will did really well slowing and getting over as much as he could and we ended up running into them! If Will had slammed on his break or swerved to hard we would have rolled! we were probably at 60 MPH by the time we hit the car ahead of us! It was so weird it felt like it was all in slow motion!! The airbags deployed and all. It was scary! But could have been so much worse!

We sat on the side of the road for a good hour or so- while we were filling out paper work and waiting for the Idaho Troopers to take us to the gas station! Once we got to the gas station it was so nice to get some HOT CHOCOLATE and to get the girls ready for bed! Meanwhile Lindsey, Kyle, and my moms friend Susan came to rescue us! We finally made it home safe and sound- and no one was hurt, except we were sore and had little bruises!

This was in the back of the Troopers car! Mary and Megan thought it was so fun! They received a sheriff sticker from the Trooper which they thought was awesome also!

No worries people... My Mom saved the chocolate!!

Airbags STINK and they also smoke- I freaked out about the smoke because I thought the van was going to blow! haha

This was my battle wound- This is from my seatbelt!! This was soooo tender for a few days!!

I am so thankful we were being watched over and didn't get hurt and everyone was ok!!

Christmas 2011

Christmas was a blast this year! My whole family was here- Except Brian's family!! we missed them very much!! 

We started out Christmas Eve with yummy snacks and playing games! We opened presents from our Secret siblings and the little cousins opened their gifts from each other! We ended with the LUKE story and my Mom read a book called "The Crippled Lamb" LOVE THAT BOOK! It is so good and perfect for the holidays! We had some family friends (she teaches with my Dad at Bush) over on Christmas Eve! Leslie brought stuff for ginger bread houses! The kids loved this!!

This is usually the Christmas Eve Breakfast- but we weren't able to on Christmas Eve so we went to our ANNUAL BUBBAS breakfast the day after Christmas!!! YUM!

It was a wonderful Christmas, I am so thankful for the true meaning of Christmas and hope we can live the hope and meaning all year long!!

Graves Christmas 2011

This last weekend we went to Graves for the Sevarg Christmas! I didn't take many pictures, dang it! 

Anyway so we got there Friday night and had dinner and watched a picture slideshow, and just hung out! We all got pajamas which was fun! I LOOOOVE Mary's jammies!!! 

Saturday morning we got up and opened presents- Will got some tools from Chad, I got a scarf from Tami, and Mary got a little hamster thing toy that moves on the ground from Jeff! And then form Grandma and Grandpa Mary received a Cinderella Baby! SHE LOVES IT!!

Then we ate breakfast and watched Mr Poppers Penguins... Such a cute movie!!!

SIMPLE THINGS!

HYMN #94

This last week was Thanksgiving! I have a lot to be grateful for! And this week for Simple Things I decided to talk about music! Music makes me happy! Today in Sacrament meeting we sang hymn #94- I love this song! We also sang it last week in Relief Society... 

I just love music and thats all I really have to say :) That is the simple thing this week!

Day of Thanksgiving!

Yesterday was Thanksgiving! I love that holiday! Good food, good company, good naps, and most of all great time to think about what life is all about and what you are thankful for!!!
Here is a list of some of the things I am thankful for:

-My husband Will! I am so thankful for all his hard work at school so that he will have a great job and be able to provide for us! I am confident in him getting into pharmacy school for fall 2012! Everyone please pray that he is accepted! I am thankful for our love and companionship and he is my bet friend! I love you babe!
-My beautiful daughter, Mary! She is such a blessing and the light of my life. She makes our home a joy! I am so thankful for her sweet personality- she is such a character and I am just sooo grateful to have her - I love you sweet girl!
-My parents- they are the BEST parents anyone could ask for! They are always there for me no matter what, and I know I can always count on them! Thanks for all you do and for your guys' great example!
-My parents in law- I am thankful for Will's parents- all of them! They are so supportive and too would do anything for us!
-My siblings! I love my bros, sisters, and bro/sis in laws! They are my best friends and will stay by me through thick and thin!
-My ward- I am so thankful for the ward we are in, they are all so friendly and welcoming! I am very thankful for the bishopric and their time they put in, and for being so in tune with the spirit!
-The gospel! I am so thankful for the gospel in my life! I would be do lost without it! I honestly am not sure where I would be without it! I have such a strong testimony of the restoration- and for the latter day prophets that they do leas and guide us today!
- my Savior,Jesus Christ! I am so thankful for my brother who sacrificed so much and atoned for all our sins so that we may live with our Father in heaven again!
-Temples- I am thankful for temples and the blessings and ordinances that are made there! And that because Will took me to the temple and if we live faithfully and in righteousness we will have eternal life!
-My grandparents who have passed on- I am so thankful for all they did and for their great example! I miss them more than words could ever express!
-Grandma Empey, Wills grandma- bless her heart, I am so thankful for her! right now she is struggling in the hospital with double pneumonia and a UTI- it's not looking good and I can't help but be grateful for all she has done for Will, Mary, and I- we are truly in debt to her! She is such an example and is always there for us no matter what!!
-Friends! You know who you are and I am very grateful for all of you!!

There is so much to be thankful for, I could go on and on- but you get the idea!
