Trip To Colorado! ( ITS A LONG ONE)

Day l ... We left idaho. falls and got to Colorado in the evening . Shaleena made us YUMMY steak dinner. the babies went to bed at 8:00 . everyone went on tour of campus and i stayed wth the babes. their house is huge and gorgeous.

Day 2 ...BRIANS BIRTHDAY... went to church. went and ate lunch at a park. then headed up to the mountains. we walked and drove around Rocky Mountain National Park BEAUTIFUL. then we got out andwalked around estes park. . such a fun town. we visited the chocolate factory, fed some fish, ate at Casa Grande. very yummy. walked a little hike up to an old house made of rock. very fun and gorgeous. enjoyed the day. blast but exhausting.

Day 3... we went into Denver . we went to the Denver Zoo. my favorite was the Elephants and the Giraffes. Mary loved all the animals and would giggle and wave at them. she only acted scared/nervous at the SeaLion. it was fun and exhausting. then we went out to Dinner at Casa Bonita. that was a fun place to eat. there were cliff divers to watch. fire jugglers, and other entertainment. Mary loved watching the 4 man band and loved dancing to the music.

then we went to Elitch Gardens Theme Park. mary loved the carousel and just hanging out with Woods and Grandma- while everyone went on rides. i only went on one ride. it was a lot of fun- but very hot and tiring.

Day 4 ... laid back day. today we just stayed here at Shaleenas and Brians. we all took turns taking naps. i took mary and woods on a walk with Katelynn. it was way too hot to stay outside so we played the Wii. they have the old school mario brothers. i love those games. then after dinner Shaleena had us groom and saddle the horses. then we rode the horses-it was a total blast and beautiful to ride around the field - then we came back and i packed our stuff up .

On the way home - near Cheyenne Wyoming you are supposed to turn off and go on I-80- well we missed that turn and ended up in Casper- 2 and a half hours north of Cheyenne! So we ended up going home through Jackson- It was a pretty but VERY long drive! It took us 14 1/2 hours to get home! We were soooo happy to see the WELCOME TO IDAHO sign!

It was a FABULOUS trip and we are also glad to be home!
