Mary LOVES to read and be read to!! My Mom gave Mary this book before she was born- when she was in Alaska- and she LOVES this book! She carries this book EVERYWHERE- She would ave it next to her in the crib if i let her! We have left it at my parents house a few times- and she KNOWS it's gone! she would go to her Bookshelf and take a book off- look at it- and if it wasn't Kiska and Kobuk she would throw it on the floor- then when the shelf was empty she would whine- and look at the floor probably thinking "did i miss it" and would search the floor- This happened quite a few times a day! SHE LOVES THIS BOOK!
Well she actually remembered to take it home and she is carrying it around everywhere!

That is adorable! Taya got that from Grandma too and she said, "We have the Kobuk one." She loved it too!

She is so stinking smart. Seriously. And it's great that you read to her. Keep it up. You'll be glad you did. So will her 8th grade English teacher. :)
